Arthur has worked for Scottish Natural Heritage since its inception. He manages a projects and partnership team that operates across the central belt, and oversees SNH’s green infrastructure and place-making work.
He is also a Director of the East Ayrshire Coalfield Environment Trust. Previously he managed SNH operations in Greater Glasgow.
Before joining SNH, Arthur worked as an environmental consultant. He has a degree in zoology from the University of Bristol, and a postgraduate diploma in recreation & leisure management.
He is married with three children and enjoys hill-walking in his spare time.
Throughout his career, Arthur has worked on projects which seek to bring the natural heritage to people in Scotland’s urban areas, so he is delighted to have the opportunity to work with the CSGN.
