Thanks to funding from The Scottish Government and The Greggs Foundation, The Central Scotland Green Network Trust are supporting Buglife to create 25 pollinator ‘hubs’ at various points along the John Muir Way. This funding will allow Buglife Scotland the opportunity to expand and bolster the work already being undertaken to create the first urban B-lines in Scotland, The John Muir Pollinator Way.
Through improvements across central Scotland’s environment, the Central Scotland Green Network (CSGN) will improve lives, tackle social inequality, support economic growth, help meet the challenges of climate change and allow nature to flourish.
Following an online survey seeking local people’s opinions on their local council owned woodlands, members of communities in and around Falkirk are invited to attend the second stage of this consultation.
The event will be a ‘drop in’ session where residents and visitors can pop in at any point to see early stage draft maps for how their woodlands and parks might be improved, and give their views and feedback.
