RiverLife and CSGNT propose to rebuild the viewing platform overlooking Limefield Falls, this will be as part of the works to build a fish pass to allow iconic fish species to breed in the river again.
A planning consultation meeting will take place at Polbeth Village Hall on Friday 18th January, 4pm to 7pm.
Our Chair, Keith Geddes, and Mark Smillie, Head of Partner Support & Finance at Central Scotland Green Network Trust, visited a project in Alexandria to launch a new round of the CSGN Development Fund.
Projects can now apply for a share of the £350,000 funding boost with green active travel, woodland creation and community growing projects, helping to enhance the quality of life for the 3.8m residents living and working in the central Scotland area.
The Central Scotland Green Network Trust held a parliamentary reception with Alex Neil MSP on 4 December 2018 at Holyrood.
The event, Investing in Young People; Investing in our Environment, focussed on the Year of Young People 2018, highlighting the contribution our young people are making to greening the central belt through local and strategic action, and the benefits they enjoy from the CSGN.
