Working together to improve the lives of 3.8m people

The Central Scotland Green Network Trust (CSGNT) is pleased to announce the appointment of Deryck Irving as its new Head of Strategic Development. Deryck replaces Sue Evans who will retire in 2018.

Simon Rennie, Chief Executive at CSGNT, said “We are absolutely delighted with this appointment which will ensure that the great work done by Sue Evans is taken forwards and further that no momentum will be lost in developing the CSGN following Sue’s leaving. Deryck brings with him great experience, knowledge and networks and I look forward to Deryck making his own mark on the development of the CSGN in due course.

“In addition I am sure that this appointment will facilitate future joint working with greenspace scotland. This relationship is important to us providing us, as it does, with access to skills and knowledge which will help to make the CSGN the success it deserves, and needs, to be.’

Deryck will formally start in post at CSGNT on the 19 March 2018, from his current role as Programme Manager at greenspace scotland. Deryck will meet with key stakeholders in due course, meanwhile please contact us should you have any queries at This email address is being protected from spambots.
