Keith is a chartered forester with extensive experience spanning 30 years in forestry planning and management at both local and strategic levels. He worked for the Forestry Commission in Scotland for over 25 years and is currently the conservator for central Scotland for Scottish Forestry, managing a team of forestry professionals that support the development and regulation of the forestry sector across the central belt.
He is a member of the Glasgow & Clyde Valley Green Network Partnership board, and has previously served on the boards of both the Central Scotland Forest Trust and the Edinburgh & Lothian’s Greenspace Trust.
Keith has a degree in forestry from Aberdeen University, and a masters in business administration from the University of Strathclyde. As a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Foresters, he is currently vice-chair of the institute’s examinations board.
